I'm of Bajan descent (that's Barbados to this not in the know), thus brought up on rum from the home of rum.
The Lowland is a quality drinking rum, absolutely no mixer, straight up, a nice caramel hued and flavoured rum with depth, complexity and a good finish. I can see where the seaweed comes in and adds a unique twist to counter balance the sweetness.
This Bajan highly recommends giving it a try and the tumblers are very aesthetically pleasing to the eye and the irregular form adds function as they are easy to grip.
